Engle

Randall D.” Randy” Engle, 54, Garrett, died July 16, 2016 at Meyersdale Medical Center. Born  October 8, 1961 in Meyersdale, the son of the late Woodrow D. and Eva Jane (Hampe) Engle. Preceded in death by his brother, Woodrow Engle Jr. Survived by his fiancée, Bridget Custer; children: April Engle, Christina Engle, Randee Engle, Jonathon Custer and, Amanda (Custer) Hinzy; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandson;  brother of: Karen Hause, Boswell; George Lung, Berlin; Bessie Lung, Somerset; Debbie Judge, WA; Nancy Lung, TN; and Gladys Wisseman, Springs; Also survived his “special adopted daughter”, Makaila Orner and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a plant supervisor at Clapper Industries and along with his brother-in-law, Ron Leasock Jr., they owned Maple City Developers LLC for 12 years. Randy enjoyed cooking, hunting mushrooms, roofing, vacationing at the beach, driving his truck, listening to music, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Friends received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Interment St. Paul’s Wilhelm Cemetery. Arrangements by Price Funeral Service, Inc., Meyersdale.
