DUE TO COVID-19 HEALTH CONCERNS, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING STATEMENTS REGARDING FUNERAL SERVICES:
We want to ensure our families, we are still here to serve you. But we now have different guidelines to follow regarding funeral services. We are making adjustments as needed, disinfecting daily, and trying to protect our community and our families.
When possible, we will record or livestream the funeral services.
We greatly appreciate your understanding during this time and thank you for your confidence in Price Funeral Service.
The following is from the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association, Kathy Ryan, Executive Director, Esquire:
Funerals or anything connected to them, must be limited to ten people or less including you and your staff. This means any tribute to the deceased should be immediate family or next of kin. Members want to argue or negotiate what that means. “Can I just rotate 10 at a time?” No. “Well, there are grandchildren; I can’t eliminate them.” Yes, you can, and you must. Arrangements or pre-arrangements (if necessary) should be done by phone, fax, skype, FaceTime, etc. These steps are critically necessary to help reduce the severity of this virus and exposure among humans.
You all provide a vital service to the communities in which you live. You can continue to provide meaningful tributes to the deceased and still protect yourself and the families you serve. Be safe and protect yourself. Assure the families you serve that once things return to normal, you will contact them to arrange for memorialization.

The Price Funeral Home is located in Meyersdale, Somerset County, "America's County", Pennsylvania. We have served our community since 1914, and we are very proud to be family owned and operated.
In the year 2014, we are celebrated our 100th year of caring and compassionate service to our community. We have enjoyed three generations of ownership at the same location as a full service funeral home.
Currently we are in our "4th" generation of ownership.
Directly order flowers, view and sign the condolences book, share memories and more to celebrate lives of those dearly missed.
