Tressler

Ralph G. Tressler, Jr., 46, of Meyersdale, died May 23, 2016 at home. Born January 22, 1970 at Camp Lejune, North Carolina, the son of the late Ralph G. Tressler Sr. and Bonnie (Gerhart) Tressler. Also preceded in death by his grandparents; Mable McKenzie; and Homer and Viola Gerhart; and uncle: James Van Meter.

Survived by his wife, Jessica (Seymour) Tressler; children: Laken, Ashley, Ryan, Ralph Tressler III, Katelyn Seese, and Shawn Young; grandchildren: Taylor, Maddison, Zoey, Ryleigh, Jaxson, Paisley, Ayden, McKenzie and Brielle. He was a retired Corrections Officer from SCI Somerset and was a Union Benefits Coordinator at PSCOA, Harrisburg.

He adored his “fur-baby” Cassie. Ralph enjoyed spending time with his 9 grandchildren, and with his Aunt Patty and Uncle Tim Amann. He was an avid Steeler fan. Ralph was a very caring father, friend, and husband, and will be greatly missed.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, with Rev. Doug Gnagey officiating. Interment Salisbury Cemetery.
