Pauline Marion Werner, 88, Meyersdale, died January 15, 2015 at Katie Miller’s Personal Care Home, Confluence. Born January 13, 1927 in Meyersdale, the daughter of Simon and Lydia Mae (Yutzy) Garlitz.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Merle Glenn Werner; brother: Elwood Garlitz; and step-father: Herbert Fiddler.
Survived by her daughter: Paulla Werner, Meyersdale; brother: Edison Garlitz and wife Shirley (Imhoff) Garlitz, Berlin; and sister-in-law: Mary (Poorbaugh) Garlitz, Berlin. Also survived by nieces and nephews: Michael, Michelle, Barry, and Allen.
She was a graduate of Meyersdale High School. Pauline was a clerk for the FBI and then a cashier for the Acme Supermarket chain. She formerly attended Zion Lutheran Church, Meyersdale.
Family will receive friends 3-5 p.m. Saturday and from 1 pm until service at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, with Rev. Frank Harpster III officiating. Interment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Glencoe.
