Palma K. (DiFebo) Rice, 88, Meyersdale, died May 28 2017, at Meyersdale Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.  Born July 23, 1928 in Shaw Mines, a daughter of the late Dominick and Rose (Arnoudo) Difebo.  
Also preceded in death by her husband, James B. Rice Jr. and her sisters and brothers: Edith McKenzie, Marcella Curtis, Ramona Taylor, Mary Ferraro, Madeline Deal, Wedo DiFebo, Anthony DiFebo and Victor DiFebo.  Also survived by her sisters- in- law, Josephine DiFebo and Arlene DiFebo. 
She is also survivied by numerous nieces and nephews  Survived by her son, Kenneth Rice, married to Nancy (Tuscano) of Oak Hill, Va., her grandson, James J. Rice and his wife Jennifer of Ranson, W.Va. and Alicia L. Southwick, married to Kris of Warrenton, Va. And her great-grandchildren: Chloey and Hudson Rice, Clayton, Emory and Cyrus Southwick.  
A member of SS Phillip and James Catholic Church, Meyersdale. 
 Funeral Mass will be conducted at Noon, Thursday, June 1 at SS. Phillip and James Catholic Church, Meyersdale, with Rev. Stephen Shin OFM Cap. Committal SS. Phillip and James Cemetery.
