Zona A. (Mazer) Boger

Zona A. Boger, 93, of Meyersdale, passed away December 16, 2022 at her home. Born December 7, 1929 in Meyersdale, the daughter of Howard and Elizabeth Erdie (Suder) Mazer.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 72 years, Homer S. Boger; son: Thomas A. Boger; grandson: Thomas A. Boger Jr.; and numerous brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter: Karen McIver and husband Robert H., Rochester, NY; and son: William Boger and wife Janie, Meyersdale; grandchildren: Robert H. McIver Jr. (Sarah), Catonsville, Md.; David M. McIver (Lisa), Hebron, KY; Katherine (George) Wrolstad, San Clemente, CA; Rebecca (Douglas) Abernathy, Sugar Hill, GA; and Sarah Boger, Jacksonville, FL; and 10 great grandchildren. Also survived by her special niece, Joyce Nalley.

She was a dental assistant for many years and a care coordinator for the former Maple Manor. Zona was a member of the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed needlepoint, embroidering and spending time with her family.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Meyersdale Church of the Brethren, where the funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, with Pastor Pete Kaltenbaugh officiating. Interment Grace Cemetery at White Oak.
