Paul D. Weimer, 83, of Garrett, died April 15, 2018 at Meyersdale Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Born October 7, 1934 in Garrett, the son of Oscar and Maud (Stevanus) Weimer.

Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elizabeth “Betty” Weimer; brothers: David and Kenneth Weimer; and grandson: David Hostetler.

Survived by his children: Paula Brewer, Somerset;

Lisa Hotchkiss and husband Bob, Meyersdale; and

Laura Hostetler, Somerset

5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother: Richard Weimer and sister: Monna Pritts. Paul was a 1952 graduate of Meyersdale High School and a lifetime member of the Garrett Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting and watching movies.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale. Interment Rockwood IOOF Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in his name to the Garrett Volunteer Fire Department.
