June M. Miller, 94, of Garrett, died January 11, 2020 at Meyersdale Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Born May 9, 1925 in Garrett, the daughter of Edith Lucile (Grew) Christner. Preceded in death by her mother; husband, Harold E. Miller; sister: Odette Dneaster; brother: Leroy Christner; infant brother: Robert.
Survived by her daughters: Bonnie Hoyman and husband John; Donna Reed and husband Kenneth, all of Garrett; grandchildren: Tammy (Mike), Teresa (Stacy), Steve (Patty), Greg (Vicki), Lisa; great grandchildren: Jonathon, Justin, Shania, Matthew, Kiha, Colsie; great great granddaughter: Kaliegh.
Lifetime member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church, Garrett. Gram loved spending the winter months with her husband in Holly Hill, Florida. She loved crocheting, quilting, needlepoint crafts, baking, and canning. Her family’s favorites included her apple dumplings, cherry pies, and apple butter.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale, where funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Rev. Glenn P. Foster officiating. Interment Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
