Kennell
Doris P. Kennell, 89, of Meyersdale, died August 18, 2018 at home. Born October 11, 1928 in Deer Park, Maryland, the daughter of Alexander and Arta (Lish) Hardesty.
Preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Arnold Sines; second husband, Gerald R. Kennell; son, Dick; granddaughter, Cheryl Sines; son-in-law, Barry Imler; daughter-in-law, Darlene Sines; step-son, Donald Sines; step-sons-in-law, Leo Dellinger and Frank Albert; step-daughters-in-law, Linda Sines and Kathleen Sines; five brothers, Burt, Gus, Junior, Bill, and Don Hardesty; three sisters, Julia, Hazel, and Beatrice.
Survived by children: Linda Imler, Sharon (Melvin) Deal, Chris (Margie) Sines, Terrie Livengood, Robert (Marsha) Sines, John (Jennifer) Sines, Bonnie (Lee) Miller, and Connie (Jim) Anderson; 19 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; 26 step grandchildren; brother, Carl Hardesty; daughter-in-law, Kathy Sines; step-children: Kenneth (Shirley) Sines, Betty Dellinger, Mary Albert, Dale (Rose) Sines, Jim Sines, and Paul (Lois) Sines.
She was a member of Grace Independent Bible Church. She was known for her coconut cream pies and buckwheat cakes. Doris was a survivor of colon and fought a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale, where funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, with Rev. Tom Horner officiating. Interment Grace Cemetery at White Oak.
