Carl Joseph Minick, 78, of Somerset, passed away August 9, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born September 15, 1940 in Greenville Twp., the son of Anthony and Pansy (Garlitz) Minick.

Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Helen Minick; brother: Blaine Minick, Stephen Minick; sister: Rosie Minick; and granddaughter: Emily Tressler.

Survived by his children: Lisa Borosky, Christine Houck, Michael Minick, Amy Weiss; stepchildren: Kenneth Hollada, Terry Bodes, Wayne Hollada, Randall Hollada, Glenn Hollada, Glynnis Troutman, Russell Hollada, Roxann Baker, Harold Hollada. God blessed Carl with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also survived by his sisters: Pauline Deneen and Angela Hockman; brothers: Lee and Kenny Minick.

Member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time at his cabin, and visiting his family and friends.

Friends will be received from 4 until 6 p.m., Monday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale. The funeral service will begin at 6 p.m. following the visitation, with his son Pastor Michael Minick officiating.
