Susan and Rob,

So sorry to hear of the passing of your father, Robert.

I actually came across this looking for a different Robert Hollada who passed away on December 14, 2016 - he was my wife's brother. Her name is Deodorah Karen Hollada Sluder. Her father is also from Somerset Co., Pennsylvania.

From what I can tell you are descended from the same family. You are descended from Andrew Jackson Hollada -> Zenas Hollada -> Milton Hollada -> Robert E Hollada (your father). She is Andrew Jackson Hollada -> Jesse Hollada -> Henry Eart Hollada -> Floyd Marlin Hollada (her father). So that makes you 4th cousins.

My dear Sue & Rob,

I'm so sorry for your loss of your wonderful dad. He was the best, fun & always full of life. I had the pleasure of traveling with you guys one summer up to Nags Head, NC & it was the best time. Your parents were always about us kids enjoying & experiencing life.

Sue do you remember when your dad personally drove us up to the Cleveland Coliseum in the bad weather wintertime so we could still go to the Heart concert? I think Michele Shaffer went with us too. That's the kind of dad he was.

I love you guys & you are in my thoughts & prayers.

Bob's family,
We are so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. We remember him as a friendly neighbor who always had time to chat. He would stop whatever work he was doing in the yard to say hello when we passed by. We would tease him about his leaning silo and make bets with him when it would finally fall. Know that we are thinking of you and hope you can remember the happy times you spent with him to help you get through this difficult time. Doug and Rina Kemerer
