Keith S. Petenbrink, 71, beloved brother, uncle, and friend, died February 20, 2017 at Meyersdale Medical Center. Born March 21, 1945 in Meyersdale, the son of Melvin S. and Anna Pauline (Barmoy) Petenbrink. Preceded in death by his parents; sister: Twila Donley; nephew: David Donley; and great nephew: Angel Knox.

Survived by his loving sister: Linda Shumaker; brother-in-law: Samuel Donley; nieces: Beverly Knox and husband Todd; Dianne Knox and husband Stacy; Paula Most and husband David; and nephew: Michael Donley and wife Debra; great nieces and nephews: Eric, Matthew, and Steven Knox; Sarah, Heather, Adam, and Seth Knox; Mara Van Buren; John, Joseph, and Kathryn Most; and Yeardley Burns; grand nephews: Samuel Garno, Anthony Van Buren III, and Alexander Van Buren. He is also survived by special friends, the Kamalsky family and Larry Lohr.

Keith was a member of Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church and the Rural Letter Carriers Association. As an avid lover of history, he spent countless hours volunteering his time at the Meyersdale Public Library where he cataloged Civil War veteran records as well as assisted in numerous genealogical projects. He supported many sports teams and cherished spending time with his family and friends.

Friends will be received from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale. A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Carmel Cemetery at White Oak.
