Lynn, Corbin and Deidra,
I am so sorry to hear about Jim.  My last visit with him, we went through a book he had about railroads in Great Britain, obviously his passion.  We talked about the time he spent working on the Ffestiniog railroad, since we had visited and rode it with the kids back in 2005.  He seemed so upbeat, and determined to beat his disease.  Again, so sorry for your loss.

Dear Lynn and the rest of the family,
I am so sorry to hear of Jim's death.  I remember the Thanksgivings at the Brace and Davies households for years on end.  The train rides in the back yard at the Braces' and the pool games in the basement of the Davies'  were always fun.  Of course Jim was involved in these activities.
I remember various trips to Cherryfield from childhood to adulthood visiting family for vacations and important family events.  I especially remember three winters when I visited Jim and his family in PA.  On one of those trips Jim took my family on a horse-drawn sleigh ride.  On another trip I took Diedra and Corbin on a walk in the snow on their property.  When it looked like we were lost, I asked 9-year-old Corbin how to get back and he said he didn't know because his parents didn't let him go that far! We obviously found our way home.
I believe that Jim and Lynn's wedding was the first of the Brace/Leonard/Davies families.  The horse-drawn carriage definitely made an impression on my young mind.
We will all miss him greatly.

Emily
