William Craig Sines Obituary

William Craig Sines, 44, of Meyersdale, went home to be with his Lord on January 10, 2026. Born on March 12, 1981 in Meyersdale, Bill was a dedicated husband, a devoted father, beloved son and brother, a family man, an avid hunter, hobby farmer, a proud builder, a mentor and role model to many, and a friend to anyone who crossed his path. He loved God and his family deeply and always put them first. You couldn't pass a job site without Bill pointing out the work he had done. He took great pride in his craftsmanship and gained lifelong friends job site after job site. Bill believed in doing things the right way, and his work was a reflection of the man he was. The true light in Bill's smile was his family. Nothing mattered more to him than family time and get-togethers, and he would do anything to make sure family gatherings happened. Bill loved to hunt, especially as his sons reached the age where they could go with him. Seeing his sons in the woods by his side brought him so much joy. He showed his sons love by showing up, teaching them by example what it means to work hard, love deeply, and live with integrity. Mandy was the love of Bill's life. Together, Bill and Mandy built a life rooted in faith, love, and commitment, standing shoulder to shoulder in everything they did. Their bond was one of true partnership, and Bill loved Mandy fiercely and faithfully, making sure she never doubted it. Bill missed his father deeply, and while our hearts are broken by his passing, we find peace knowing he is now in our Savior's arms and finally reunited with his dad.
He is preceded in death by his father, Richard "Dick" Sines. He is survived by following family members, who will miss him dearly: wife, Amanda Jean "Mandy" (Baker) Sines; sons: Landen Craig, Silas William and Solomon Richard Sines; mother, Kathy Ellen (Shipley) Sines; sister, Julie Sarver and husband Michael; brother: Richard Lee Sines Jr. and wife Amy; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 & 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Somerset New Hope Baptist Church, 1237 Berlin Plank Rd., Somerset, PA 15501. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Somerset New Hope Baptist Church. Pastor Andrew Broucher officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Fairhope. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family for his sons' education.
