Wayne E. Miller, 80, Meyersdale, died peacefully at home and entered the gates of heaven surrounded by his loving family on August 25, 2024. Born January 20, 1944 in Meyersdale, the son of Ray and Marthena (Durr) Miller.

Preceded in death by his parents; brother: Earl; brother-in-law: Alfred.

Survived by his wife, Velma (Fazenbaker) Miller, whom he married on November 26, 1967; he was blessed with five sons: Wayne Miller Jr. (Andi), Finzel, Md.; Kevin Miller (Faith), Chambersburg; Darren Miller (Lesli), Vandergrift, PA; Todd Miller (Bobbi), Meyersdale, and Shawn Miller (Tiffany), Meyersdale. He loved and was proud of his thirteen grandchildren: Alexis, Matthew (Jessica), Brendon, Cody, Darren Jr., Brooke, Linzey, River (Terri), Colton, Broznon, Rainy, Benson, Wyatt; and his great grandchildren: Damien Heinbaugh, Adalyn Wagner, Meadaux Miller, and several small angels he met in heaven. Also survived by his two sisters: Wanda (Woody) and Yvonne. He also leaves behind his loving dog Pumpkin.

Wayne operated the family farm for 51 years, making him the fifth generation. He attended Hostetler Church of the Brethren, Meyersdale.

Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Saturday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale. A private service will be held at a later date.
