Preceded in death by his parents; children: Bobbi Jo Wedge and Jared Knopsnyder; mother-in-law and fathers-in-law: Ruth Shipley-Hutzel, Charles Shipley Jr. and Austin Hutzel Sr.; and brother-in-law: Richard Sines.

Survived by his wife of 41 years, Tracy (Shipley) Wedge; children: Kayla Sines and husband Doug, Salisbury; Cody Wedge and wife Brandi (Shaulis), Meyersdale; grandchildren: Natalie, Italia, Gabriella, and Brynlee Sines; Bryson and Daxton Wedge; and Aiyana Knopsnyder; siblings: Patricia Fike and husband Mike, Jacqueline Wedge, and Timothy Wedge and wife Lynn. Brother-in-law of: John Shipley and wife Nanci; Bruce Shipley and wife Lorrie, Theodore Shipley and wife Kathy, and Kathy Sines. Also survived by many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was a 1978 graduate of Meyersdale High School. Bob and Tracy were married on July 17, 1982 at the New Hope Church. He worked for many years at the Meyersdale Shirt Factory. After 20 years, he retired as a Laundry Foreman at SCI: Somerset. He also enjoyed working for the state and plowing snow in the winters after retirement. He attended the New Hope Church, Cumberland Hwy., Meyersdale.

He was a very supportive husband, father, and pappy. He supported and enjoyed watching his children's and grandchildren's sporting events (even the band and chorus concerts and dance recitals). He had a love for everything outdoors including camping, hunting, fishing, soccer, and NASCAR. In Bob's earlier years in life, he loved dirt track racing (along with the occasional street race). He loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and going on 4 wheeler rides. He was very active in 4H with beef, riflery, and swine. He enjoyed working in the dairy bar dipping ice cream and making milkshakes at the Somerset County Fair. He was a member of the AYSO soccer board and coached for many years. He also coached the Meyersdale Junior High soccer team and the high school rifle team. Bob's humorous comments and nicknames for everyone, along with his ornery instigating, will be missed beyond measure.

Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale, where funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Pastor Steve Kontaxes officiating. Interment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Fairhope.
