Philip Russell Johnson, 75, of Garrett, died July 23, 2023 at his home. Born March 26, 1948 in Meyersdale, the son of the late James Russell and Annie Ree (Giles) Johnson.
Survived by his son, James Johnson and wife Christy; grandchildren: Catherine and Jackson Johnson, Sarah and Abigail Reed.
A graduate of Meyersdale Area High School. He was a Vietnam War Army veteran. Philip was a lifelong mechanic.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
