Mildred M. Folk

Mildred M. Folk, 93, of Meyersdale, died June 5, 2022 at home. Born June 9, 1928 in Meyersdale, the daughter of the late Carl and Mildred (Murray) Burley. Also preceded in death by her husband, Wayne W. Folk.

Survived by her sons: Brooke A. Folk, wife Margaret; Donald R. Kimmel, wife Rebecca; and daughter: Ginger (Folk) Philip and husband Denver; grandchildren: Brooke Folk Jr., Jason Philip and wife Amie, Jill (Philip) Lester and husband Clifford, and Megan (Kimmel) MacPherson and husband Kevin; great grandchildren: Isabella and Jacob Philip; Ruth and Keith Lester; Abigail Van Rysdam; Quinn and Rowan MacPherson.

Millie worked for over 30 years as a maternity nurse at Meyersdale Hospital, where she helped deliver thousands of the current and former residents of the Meyersdale area.

Millie, also known as "Honey", loved her family, friends, neighbors and her church and faith. She very much enjoyed her garden, flowers, baking, cooking, and arts and crafts.

Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2022 at Price Funeral Service, Inc, Meyersdale. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. following the visitation, with Pastor Marc Valentine officiating. Interment Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery.
