Merle Sheldon "Cubby" Durst II, 51, of Meyersdale, passed away March 12, 2026. Born November 24, 1974, in Meyersdale, the son of Merle Sheldon Durst and the late Jean Ann (Rhodes) Durst. Also survived by his son: Zander Durst and his wife Isabel; grandson: Arthur; and sisters: Kimberly Durst and Deborah Yommer. He was a graduate of Meyersdale High School and the owner of Cubby's Garage. He enjoyed "wind therapy" on his motorcycle. A private service will be held at a later date.
