Mark E. Pritts, 83, of Garrett, went home to Jesus on January 7, 2025.
Mark was born to Paul and June (Romesburg) Pritts in Garrett.
Throughout Mark's entire life, he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him.

Mark was a 1960 graduate of Rockwood Area High School, where he played tenor saxophone and sang in the men's quartet. He was a member of the Local Laborer's Union No. 1451 and worked for Darr Construction for many years. He was also a member of the Scullton Rod and Gun Club, and for many years, he and his brother Doug sang with a Christian Quartet the "Shepherds Sons".

He is a member of the Garrett Christian Community Church (formerly United Methodist) for 58 years, where he served as Advisory Board member, Sunday School Teacher, lay leader and choir member.
Mark loved Jesus, his church, music and singing, keeping his property immaculate, hunting, fishing, turning wooden bowls, riding ATVs and snowmobiles, puzzles and his cat companion, MoJo.
Mark joined his mother and father; infant brother Paul; brother and sister-in-law: James and Connie; and sister and brother-in-law: Dorla and Ben, who are in Heaven.

Mark is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Jeffrey and Carol; brother and sister-in-law: Doug and Vina Kay; several nieces and nephews, his church family, and was looking forward to becoming "Uncle Moe" to baby girl Wendel expected in July.

Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at the Garrett Christian Community Church, where the funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. following visitation. Rev. Arnie McFarland officiating. Interment Highland Cemetery, Garrett. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in Mark's memory to the Garrett Christian Community Church, P.O. Box 217, Garrett, PA 15542.
