Linda Sue (Mankamyer) Conn

Linda Sue Conn, 61, of Wilmington, N.C. left her earthly home for her heavenly home, 3/20/2022.

Linda served others in healthcare as an MRI Technologist for nearly 40 years. She was an avid reader and loved completing puzzles. She enjoyed gardening, the outdoors, and spending time on the beach. She was fiercely devoted to the happiness and success of her family.

Linda was born in Meyersdale, PA to Joan (Walker) Mankamyer and the late Donald R. Mankamyer. She was also preceded in death by her father-in-law Bruce Harold Conn.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her devoted husband of 43 years, Kenneth Conn; daughter: Sheila Fay Smith (Harold); son: Ryan “Buck” Conn (Rachel); grandchildren: Karly Catherine Maready (Brantly), Olivia Halsey Conn; great grandchildren: Kade Asher Maready and Zoe Jade Maready; sisters: Rhonda Beckner (Rex); Jackie Baer (Doug); and Beth Hoover (Jeff). She is also survived by her mother-in-law: Helen Conn and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Wednesday at Beachdale Church of the Brethren, Berlin, where funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. following visitation, with Pastor Tammy Horner officiating. Interment Glade Cemetery.
