Joseph John Henry, 76, of Meyersdale died July 3, 2021 at UPMC Shadyside. Born March 19, 1945 in New Lexington, the son of Robert and Wilma (Panik) Henry. Preceded in death by his parents; brother: Robert; brother-in-law: Charles Snyder; and step-daughter: Tina Bungard.
Survived by his wife of 29 years, Mary Marlene (Boyce) Henry; son: Joseph Pritts and wife Kelli, Confluence; step-daughter Melissa Snyder and husband Jason, Rockwood; grandchildren: Dakota Pritts, Erik Bungard, Logan Bungard, and Alyson Snyder; great grandson and best buddy, Gideon Joseph Bungard; brothers: James Henry and wife Sandy, Michigan; Jack Henry and wife Daisy, Garrett; sister: Robin Snyder, Oesterburg; and son-in-law: Stephan Bungard.
He was the owner of Henry's Cafe in Rockwood for 33 years, where he made many friends. He was also employed at Bittner Vending. He enjoyed car shows, watching westerns and spending time with his family.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
