John E. Woullard Sr., 82 of Garrett, died August 4, 2014 at his home. Born February 7, 1932 in Cumberland, MD. A son of the late William and Myrtle (Beckman) Woullard. Also preceded in death by his wife, the former Helen “Toots” Fogle; sons, John Jr. and Joseph; infant grandson Richard; sister Betty Grasser; brother William Woullard II; and brothers-in-law William Zimmerman and Dale Fogle. Survived by sons: Douglas Woullard, married to the former Patricia Secrest, Garrett; Jeffrey Woullard, married to the former Mary Lou Hickman, Berlin; and David Woullard, married to the former Tammy Miller, Meyersdale. Grandchildren: Lisa Fox, Theresa Brahler, Ryan, Victoria, Christopher and Brendon Woullard, and Brooke Shilling. Great grandchildren: Nathan and Julia Fox, Nicholas Brahler, Dylan and Lyric Shilling. A brother of James Woullard, Pasadena MD; brother-in-law Jack Fogle and his wife Mary Jane of Garrett, and William Grasser of Meyersdale; and sister-in-law Phyllis Zimmerman, Corriganville, MD .Also numerous nieces and nephews. A veteran of the U.S. Army (Korean War Era). John was the former owner and retired from Woullard’s Jewlery Store in Meyersdale. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday at the Price Funeral Home in Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 10:00 am Friday, with Pastor Dottie Grew officiating. Interment Beachdale Cemetery.
