            John Roland “Rolly” Wagner, 80, of Meyersdale, died September 23, 2014 at Southwestern Veterans Center, Pittsburgh. Born June 8, 1934 in Meyersdale, the son of the late Edgar Dove and Helen (Swearman) Wagner. Also preceded in death by his brother: William E. Wagner; and brother-in-law: Johnny Dormish.

Survived by his wife of 20 years, the former Ilene Early; daughters: Cynthia (Wagner), wife of Patrick McCormick, Bedford; Brenda (Wagner), wife of Ron Burner, Oakland, MD; Michele (Yoder) Inks, and Melanie (Yoder), wife of Jonathan Love, both of Pittsburgh; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, and sister: Kathryn (Wagner) Dormish, Ohio.

John was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean War era. He was retired from Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Meyersdale.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, with Charles Davis officiating. Interment Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery.
