Jerry Haning Obituary

Jerry William Haning, 80, of Meyersdale, passed away September 26, 2023 at his home. Born May 20, 1943, in Meyersdale, the son of Samuel and Ruth (Horchler) Haning.
Preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Robbie Haning.

Survived by his wife, Shirl (Hutson) Haning; children: Sheila Hetz (Gary Lee); Jerry (Amy) Haning; 3 sisters: Susan Nellesson, Mary Kay (Don) Davis, and Jane (Dave) Mohapp; 2 brothers: Sammy (Sue) Haning and Freeman Haning; 3 grandchildren: Kala (Landon) Loya, Amanda (Anthony) Lewis and Jeremy Hetz;4 great grandchildren: Lia, Tyler, Zacary, and Jaxon. Also survived by sister-in-law: Patricia Redman; brother-in-law: Bill (Donna) Hutson.

He was a 1961 graduate of Woodstock Community High School and was a lifetime farmer, who enjoyed hunting and fishing.

A private graveside service will be held at St. Paul Wilhelm Cemetery a later date.
