Jerry Freeman Haning, 52 , of Meyersdale, died November 25, 2023 at his home. Born May 10, 1971 in Cumberland, MD, the son of the late Jerry W. Haning, and Shirl (Hutson) Haning, of Meyersdale.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by: Amy Robertson, love of his life; Amy's parents: Leroy and Gloria Bittner; daughter: Kala Loya and husband Landon; children: Mahlon and Kayla Robertson, & Cody and Randi Robertson; grandchildren: Lia Loya, Deegan and Bryce Robertson; sister: Sheila Hetz (Gary Lee); and special cousins, Ron and Jen Haning.

He was a graduate of Salisbury Elk Lick High School and employed as a laborer for PennDOT. He loved hunting, fishing, farming, and traveling.

A celebration of life and graveside service will be held at a later date at St. Paul Wilhelm Cemetery.
