Homer E. Fike, 78, of Meyersdale, died July 8, 2022 at UPMC Western Maryland.

Born February 16, 1944 in Meyersdale, the son of Homer J. and Esther G. (Winters) Fike.
Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda L. (Gnagey) Fike; and son: Matthew E. Fike.

Survived by his daughter: Kara Kroll, North Myrtle Beach, S.C.; grandson: Taylor Kroll, Pittsburgh; and sisters: Shirley Marshall, Bowie, MD; Sondra Yoder and husband Barry, Meyersdale; and Diane Barron and husband Dean, Somerset.

Homer was an United States Air Force veteran. He worked at local car dealerships before he became a correctional officer at WCI, in Cumberland, MD. Homer enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was devoted to his family.

Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Price Funeral Service, Inc., Meyersdale. Memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, following visitation, with Pastor Eric Shaulis officiating.
