Helen J. Davis, 84, of Garrett, passed away on March 24, 2026 at Casselman Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Meyersdale.
Born September 22, 1941 in Garrett, the daughter of Samuel Earl and Etta (Llewellyn) Werner.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rev. Kenneth A. Davis; siblings: Charles Aurndt, Bill Werner, Don Werner, Rodger Werner, Ken Werner, Shirley Donaldson, and Sally Romesberg; daughters-in-law: Bobbi Davis and Kym Davis.
Helen is survived by her loving family; children: Tim (Sandy) Davis; David (Beverly) Davis; Ken (Tina) Davis; and Jennifer Davis (Robert Fike); grandchildren: David, Jaron, Kenny Lee, Kirk, Nathan, Alexandra, Kaitlin, Kyle, and Brady; great grandchildren: Kloey, Layla, Elijah, and Garrett. She is also survived by her sisters: Lois Meyers, Wilma Purbaugh, and Bonnie Decker as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a lifetime member of the Garrett Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and operated Helen's Gifts and Collectibles for many years, where she was a craft vendor at all the local festivals. She was also the Garrett Borough Tax Collector. Helen loved spending time with her family and friends. The family would like to thank all the care givers over the past few years, for their excellent care of Helen.
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, at Price Funeral Service, Inc., Meyersdale, where the funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., with Pastor Joe Byler officiating. Interment Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
