Grace Corletta Ringler, 88, of Somerset, formerly of Berkley’s Mill, died August 9, 2014 at Somerset Hospital. Born February 12, 1926 in Meyersdale, the daughter of Henry Joseph and Alice M. (Facenbaker) Firle. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, James E. Ringler; brothers: Charles, Edward, and Henry Firle; and sister: Helen Holliday.
Survived by her children: Mary Hetrick and husband Robert, Somerset; Joyce Ann Jones, Johnson City, Tenn.; James Michael Ringler and wife Rhonda, South Carolina; Gloria Jean Labbe, Brantford, Ontario; and Ray Edward Ringler and wife Nanette, Ligonier; 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren. Also survived by her sister: Gladys Hemmings and husband Herb, Meyersdale; numerous nieces and nephews; and her loving cat, Cleo.
She enjoyed quilting, sewing, reading, canning, and going to garage sales.
