Gary Lee Bolden

Gary Lee Bolden, 74, of Meyersdale, died December 8, 2021 at Windber Hospice. Born June 7, 1947 in Meyersdale, the son of James and Betty (Kemp) Bolden.

Preceded in death by his father, James; and brother: Wayne.

Survived by his mother, Betty (Kemp) Bolden; brother: Robert Bolden, Meyersdale; and sister: Jane Smith and husband Terry, Meyersdale; sister-in-law: Linda Bolden, Oakland, MD; nieces and nephews: Jesika Bolden, Cobenn Bolden and wife Barbara, Jarrett Bolden and wife Connie, Skyler Bolden and wife Rebecca, Jeremy Smith and Brandi Porter; and special cousin: Josh Bolden.

Gary was a Vietnam veteran, having served in the Army's 506th 101st Airborne, and a lifetime member of the Meyersdale VFW and American Legion Post 112, Meyersdale. Also a member of the SS. Philip and James Catholic Church, Meyersdale. 

Family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 16 at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale, where a memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, December 17 with Rev. Stephen Shin OFM Cap. Inurnment SS. Philip and James Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the Somerset County Honor Guard at the funeral home.
