Elizabeth Joyce (Regets) Crayne

Elizabeth Joyce Crayne, "Betty", 88, of Meyersdale, died peacefully at her home on January 2, 2024.

Born May 21, 1935 in Crucible, PA, the daughter of Andrew and Anne (Clarchick) Regets.
Preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband, Gary.

She is survived by her daughters: Elise Joy Baer and Elizabeth Jill Crayne; grandchildren: Alyse Gallagher and husband Brian; Erik Andrew Baer and Logan Crayne Baer; great grandchildren: Delaney, Liam and Rory Gallagher.

Betty graduated from Mercy School of Nursing and worked as an RN for 29 years at Meyersdale Hospital. She loved her flower and vegetable garden, relaxing in her pool, playing cards with her dear friends and most importantly being with her family.

Per her wishes, memorial contributions may be given to Meyersdale Hospital Nursing Department or Heartland Hospice, 1590 N. Center Ave., Suite 103, Somerset, PA 15501.
Her daughters would like to thank the staff at Meyersdale Medical Center, the Meyersdale Area Ambulance Association, as well as Heartland Hospice for the special care they provided.
