Earl W. Robertson, 80, of Meyersdale, passed away on May 9, 2026 at his home.
Born December 23, 1945 in Meyersdale, the son of Fred W. and Evelyn (Pullin) Robertson.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Jane (Smith) Robertson; and close friends: Cork Hetz and Skip Hetz.
Earl is survived by his loving family: daughter, MaryAnn "Susie" Sanner and husband Mike; son, Fred Robertson and wife Yvonne, all of Meyersdale; grandchildren: Ryan S. "PJ" (Bea H.) Shaffer, Jacob D. and Faith A. Robertson, Hope E. Tressler, Curtis M. (Rachel M.) Sanner, Walter and Matt Overton; great grandchildren: Colin, Kari, David, Daniel, and Ahvi Jane; siblings: Kathryn E. Butler and David F. Robertson. He is also survived by his companion, Linda Hotchkiss, special niece, Karen Butler, as well as other nieces and nephews.
He was a graduate of Meyersdale High School. Earl was a United States Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Mountain Valley Bible Church. An avid Harley-Davidson enthusiast, he cherished spending time riding motorcycles with his best friends, working on cars, relaxing on the back porch for hours while birdwatching, and being with his beloved dogs. He also enjoyed collecting eagle memorabilia.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Price Funeral Service, Inc., Meyersdale, where funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Pastor Tim Shivler officiating. Interment Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery. Graveside military rites provided by the Somerset County Honor Guard.
