Doris LaVerne (Blubaugh) Miller

Doris LaVerne Miller, 87, of Meyersdale, died October 9, 2023 at Casselman Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Meyersdale.
Born May 27, 1936, in Berlin, the daughter of Austin and Leila (Salkeld) Blubaugh.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Ray Miller; sons: Ronald and Brian Miller; siblings: Edna, Richard, Herbert, Clayton, Ralph, Virginia Louise, Austin Gene, William, & Thomas.

Survived by her son: Roger Miller and wife Sally; granddaughters: Amber Homa and husband Steve; Kayla Broadwater and husband Matt; and Laura Miller and husband Lance; great grandchildren: Abigail, Braylynn, Brinleigh, Laikynn, and Nolan.

Doris worked at Rockwood Insurance, the dietary department at Meyersdale Manor, and most recently at the Family Center in Salisbury. She was a member of Pine Hill Lutheran Church, and attended Meyersdale Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed crafting, reading, birdwatching, putting puzzles together, solving puzzles, and gardening.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, with Pastor Joe Byler officiating. Interment Pine Hill Cemetery.
