Diane Marie (Hoover) Saylor, 67, of Meyersdale, died December 11, 2021 at In Touch Hospice House, Somerset.

Born October 12, 1954 in Boynton, the daughter of Robert Hoover and Sara (Hochard) Hay.

Preceded in death by her parents and stepfather: William Hay.

Survived by her husband, Wayne; daughter: Amanda Malcolm and husband Michael; Cumberland, Md.; brothers: Paul Hay and Larry Hay; nieces: Mya and Katelyn Hay, and Kaley McKenzie; and close family friend, Robin Nedrow, all of Meyersdale.

She was a 1972 graduate of Meyersdale Area High School. She worked at Meyersdale Manufacturing until its closure. Later, she earned her Beautician's license, and enjoyed giving her family and close friends haircuts from her home. She retired from Total Biz in Grantsville.

Diane loved the beach, taking nightly rides to look for deer, camping and her kitty Deeks. She also loved Halloween and was featured in many of the local newspapers for her decorations.

Diane requested no viewing or service. Inurnment will be in Salisbury Cemetery.
