God called our loving wife, mother, and grandmother home on February 10, 2025. Carol Ann (Sanner) Lepley, 80, of Garrett, passed away peacefully at home. Born January 28, 1945 in Somerset, the daughter of Truman and Sara (Pyle) Sanner Sr.
Preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Dennis, Paul and Truman Sanner Jr.; and sister: Joyce Romesburg.

Carol loved her family and is survived by her husband of 57 years, Eugene Lepley Sr.; children: Melissa Hamilton and husband Bill; Shelby Weyand and fiancé Jeremy Shaffer; and Eugene Lepley Jr. and fiancé Julie Collins; grandchildren: Kayla Richards and husband Robert, Travis Hamilton and Andrew Weyand; great grandchildren: James, Aiden, Ethan, and Gavin; former son-in-law: David Weyand; sisters: Bennett Hoover, Rose (Lawrence) Marker, and Mary Sanner; close friend and sister-in-law: Esther Sanner; and godson: Matthew Lantz. Carol enjoyed reading her Bible daily and reading Amish books, attending church on Sundays, watching the hummingbirds, sitting on her porch listening to windchimes, and flowers. Carol also loved to talk to her friends and family on the phone and visit them.

She was a lifetime member of Center Church, Garrett, where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the ladies' aide for years. She retired from Meyersdale Manufacturing as a seamstress.

Family will receive friends from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Center Church, Garrett, where funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. following visitation. Pastor Lee Seese officiating. Interment to follow at Center Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Center Church, 171 Center Church Rd., Garrett, PA 15542.
