Beverly Jane (Brown) Buterbaugh, 80, of Meyersdale, went to be with the Lord on August 14, 2024 at The Patriot.

Born January 21, 1944 in Reading, the daughter of Ray W. and Blanche Catherine (Shumaker) Brown Sr.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband: Kenneth Buterbaugh; brother, Ray W. Brown Jr.; and her beloved dog Trixie.

Survived by her children: Mike (Kim) Buterbaugh; Rodney (Kami) Buterbaugh; and Tracy (Tony) Tabler; grandchildren, who lovingly referred to her as "Gram Butts": Jamie (Alex) Bastidas; Ashleigh (Joshua) Wirnsberger; Rachelle (Ryan) Williamson; Jeremy (Jen) Buterbaugh; Drew (David) Crouse, Joshua (Lindsay) Buterbaugh, and Blake (Samantha) Hoover; great grandchildren: Colson, Camden, Camilla, Corbin, Carina, Cassian Bastidas; Isabella Kamalsky, Blakely Wirnsberger; Charlotte, Walker, and Wyatt Williamson; JoLee Buterbaugh; Aiden, Loretta and Stella Crouse; Olivia Buterbaugh; Briar and Kennon Hoover. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends: Joan Jones, Carol Miller and Beverly Twigg.

She retired from Meyersdale Manufacturing as a seamstress, when it closed, then went on to become a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years, retiring in 2023.

Bev was a member of Meyersdale Church of the Brethren, where she volunteered with Kids Klub. She was a former member of the Meyersdale Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary.
The family wants to also thank The Patriot and ViaQuest Hospice for their special care.

Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Meyersdale Church of the Brethren, and from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. Funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Meyersdale Church of the Brethren. Pastors Eric Shaulis and Mike Swick officiating. Interment Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery.
