Betty G. Hoover, 79, of Garrett, died May 15, 2021 at Arbutus Park Retirement Community, Johnstown. Born June 18, 1941 in Garrett, the daughter of Durbin and Hilda (Drenner) Lohr.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert E. "Bob" Hoover; sisters: Bernadine Garkovich, Audrey "Sis" Christner, Sally Kelly; brothers: Skip, Tom, and Donald Lohr; and step-great grandson: Hunter Mills.
Survived by her daughters: Robyn (Scott) Foreman; Tammy (Terry) Leister; and Stacey (Bryan) Coleman; grandchildren: Zachary (Elizabeth), Justin (Ashley), Seth (Bethenee) Foreman, Becca (Josh) Mull, Nicholas and Ally Foreman, Hannah (Zachary) Kline, Ashley Ohler, Katlyn (Cory) Wyant and Jon (Kortni) Pribelsky; step-grandchildren: Levi (Cynthia), Alex (Santana) and Jamie Coleman; great grandchildren: Leah, Mason, Robert, Owen, Marilena, Wyatt, and Everett Foreman, Lily and Atlas Mull, Maxwell and Lohrna Kline, Caleb and Natalee Ohler, Layne and Luke Wyant, Kayson, Gracelynn, Greyden, Connor, Oliver, and baby Pribelsky;step-great grandchildren: Sierra, Cheyenne, Lucas, Lilly, and Kenna Coleman, and Waylon and baby Howard. Also survived by twin brother, Robert (Lois) Lohr; sisters: Janis (Ivan) Saylor, Patricia (Ed) Decker, and Terry (Mike) Modrak; brother-in-law: Jim (Betty) Hoover; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church, Garrett.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale, and 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday. The funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Glenn P. Foster officiating. Interment Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church, P.O. 175, Garrett, PA 15542.
