Betty Jo Bland, 74, of Meyersdale, died July 3, 2021 at UPMC Magee Womens Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born April 14, 1947 in Meyersdale, the daughter of Cloyd B. and Thelma J. (Butler) Deist Sr.

Preceded in death by parents; and husband, Charles Ralph Bland.

Survived by her children: Michael Sipple and wife Lisa; Jennifer Sipple and fiancé Herbert Engle Jr.; grandchildren: Trevor Sipple and wife Alyson, Kylie Sipple and Sarah Winner; great grandchildren: Cohen and Calista; brothers: Cloyd B. Deist Jr. and wife Mary Alice; Richard Deist and wife Mary Ann; sister: Shirley Hickman. Also survived her step children: Kimberly Burnett, Linda Smith, and Michael Smith.

She was the co-owner of RW Pizza, Meyersdale. Former member of the Meyersdale Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

Betty enjoyed playing cards, gambling, and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Per her wishes, no services will be held.
