Bernadette C. (Carter) Murray, 79, of Meyersdale, died September 21, 2022 at home. Born December 1, 1942 in Mt. Savage, Maryland the daughter of Thomas and Dorothy (Chambers) Carter. 

Preceded in death by her parents; husband: Roy W. Murray Sr.; siblings: Margaret Bridges, Mary Smith, Geraldine Finzel, Dorothy Rizer, Catherine Carter, Rose Ringer, and Thomas Carter Jr.

She is survived by her children: Wilma and David Sterbutzel, Roy Jr. and Lisa Murray, Irvin Murray, Sandra and Craig Stofko; daughter-in-law and special caregiver: Starla Murray; grandchildren: Andrea Sterbutzel, Adam and Dennie Sterbutzel, Megan and Matthew Runk, Ryan and Ashalynn Murray, Shane and Trish Murray, Brendan Murray, Catie and Andrew Koval and Jenna Stofko; 5 great grandchildren: Cade Sterbutzel, Ellorie Sterbutzel, Adilynn Murray, Mary Combs and Jackson Runk; sisters: Jean Darnell and Christine and Russell Booth. Also survived by several sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. 

Member of Our Lady of the Mountains, St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Mt. Savage, Maryland. She loved spending time with her family and friends, having picnics and family get-togethers.

Friends will be received 6-8 p.m. Monday and 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Price Funeral Service, Inc., Meyersdale. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of the Mountains, St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Mt. Savage, Maryland. Fr. John Daya, OFM, Cap. Committal St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Frostburg, Maryland.
