Alex Don Brady

God gained another angel, Alex Don Brady, 26, died on May 30, 2022, at his home in Johnstown, surrounded by the people who loved him.

Alex was born on April 1, 1996 in Somerset, the son of Don Brady Jr. (wife Lisa), of Somerset and Michelle (Albright) Brady, Garrett.

Preceded in death by his grandfathers: Paul Albright Sr. and Dick Keller; brother: Todd Boyer; and uncle: Michael Albright.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters: Brianna Mognet (Ed Miller) and their children: Payton and Christian; and Alyssa Leasock (husband Josh) and their children: Beau and Rowan; maternal grandmother: Barbara Albright; paternal grandmother: Debra Keller; paternal grandfather: Don Brady Sr. and wife Patti; uncles: Paul Albright Jr., Rick and Tom Keller; aunts: Lori and April; step brothers: Eric Bailey (wife Courtney) and their daughter, Etta; Ethan Bailey; Andrew and Caitlyn Beachy; and numerous other family members, including his Garden Terrace family, where he lived.

Alex was a 2015 graduate of Shade High School where he played football, and a graduate of Somerset Vo-Tech where he studied marketing and was employed by Penn Laurel Pharmacy in Central City. He was a member of the Pentecostal Tabernacle Assembly of God in Central City, where he enjoyed singing the old hymns and attending Bible school. Alex loved football and would debate every play with you. He was a huge New England Patriots fan and Tom Brady was his favorite quarterback of all times. Alex was a great karaoke singer, card player, and bingo player. He always had a contagious smile and made friends wherever he went, with his kind words and gentle heart.

A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Beachdale Cemetery, Berlin, with Pastor Phil St. Clair officiating. In lieu of flowers, the contributions may be given to Price Funeral Service, Inc, P.O. Box 119, Meyersdale, PA 15552.
