William Johnathan Stimmell

William Johnathan "Bill" Stimmell, 42, of Meyersdale, passed away June 11, 2019 at Western Maryland Health Systems after a courageous, but short battle with lung cancer.

Bill was born March 24, 1977 in Connellsville. He was a loved and cherished son, father, brother, and uncle. Bill spent 16 years mentoring and helping the youth at Maryland Salem Childrens Trust, and then another 3 years at Maryland DJS.

He is survived by his mother and father, Karen and Skip Hensel; wife, Charlotte; two young children: Chloe and Liam; brothers and sisters: Bob and Rose Stimmell, Laurie and Neil Miller, Kelly Baker, and Chasity and Jerry Ritenour.

Bill is also survived by a large number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and incredibly close friends he considered as family.

Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale, where funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, with Pastor Tim McGregor officiating.
