Ruth N. Miller, 95, of Meyersdale, died November 11, 2017 at Meyersdale Healthcare and Rehabilitation, with her daughter by her side. Born December 13, 1921, in Meyersdale, the daughter of Dennis and Bessie (Folk) Yoder. Preceded in death by her parents; husband: Wayne “Moon” Miller, who passed away Jan. 21, 2004; brothers: Ralph, Earl, Carl “Cotton”, and Paul Yoder; and sisters: Agnes Lee and Dorothy Newman.

Survived by her daughter: Ethel Swindell, and her friend John Stiffler, Meyersdale; 4 grandchildren: James (Carol) Swindell, Tim (Debbie) Swindell, Wayne (Nancy) Swindell, and Susan McKenzie; 11 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. She is also survived sisters-in-law: Pearl Yoder and Emily Yoder; special friend: LouAnn Testa and many nieces and nephews.

Ruth retired from the Meyersdale Shirt Factory as a seamstress. She was a lifelong member of the Main Street Brethren Church, Meyersdale. She enjoyed bus trips, yard sales and picnics with her family.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale, with Pastor Eric Shaulis officiating. Interment Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery.
