Regina C. Kirchner, 97, of Meyersdale, died June 23, 2017 at Meyersdale Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Born September 16, 1919 in Meyersdale, the daughter of James and Sarah (Steinly) Murphy.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert E. Kirchner; son, Edward Kirchner; grandsons, Bryan and Alexander; and brothers and sisters: Eleanor Raymond, Louis Murphy, Marguerite Pugh, Roseanna Walker, Mary Swindell, William Murphy, Bernard Murphy, and Joseph Murphy.

Survived by her sons: Larry Kirchner, Meyersdale; Robert Kirchner and wife Kim, Meyersdale; daughter: Sharon Burkholder and husband Jack, Ephrata; grandchildren: Mark, David, Robert, Justin, Michael, Jennifer, Christian, Daniel, Sara, Tara, Eddie, and Sarah; great grandchildren: Alexander, Isaac, Vanessa, Lucy, Clarissa, Braden, Landen, and Carter. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Meyersdale and a former member of the Meyersdale VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, with Pastor Susan Winger officiating.  Interment Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery.
