Nancy Anne Boyce, 78, of Meyersdale died September 16, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born May 15, 1941 in Salisbury, the daughter of Hubert and Dorothy (Housel) Swauger. Preceded in death by her parents and brother: John Swauger.
Survived by her husband of 57 years, Gary C. Boyce; sons: Scott Boyce and wife Rana; Michael Boyce and wife Linda; David Boyce and wife Becky; grandchildren: Karisa White and husband Adam, Laura Boyce, and Leah Boyce; Sgt. Terry Snyder USAF and Crystal Snyder; great grandchildren: Bristol White and Bryce White, due in December. Also survived by siblings: Sandra McKenzie, Joe Swauger, Shirley Kyle, and Linda Arnold.
She retired as a Registered Nurse from Meyersdale Medical Center after 30 years. Nancy was a member of Meyersdale Grace Brethren Church, where she was a member of Awana Club and Women’s Pearls of Wisdom and also taught Sunday School. She loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State. Nancy fought a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale where funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Randy Haulk. Interment St. John (Temple) Cemetery.
