Katherine L. Brant, 73, of Meyersdale, died October 31, 2018 at her home. Born October 25, 1945, in Fairmont, W.Va, the daughter of the late William G. and Ruth Louise (Uphold) Fife.

Survived by her children: Karen Schafer, Meyersdale; Michael Brant and wife Angie, Meyersdale; and Joseph Brant and wife Amber, Timonium, Maryland; grandchildren: Jessica Schafer, Chelsey Taylor, Heather Horning, Hannah Short, and Cooper Brant; and 5 great grandchildren. Also survived by her companion of 36 years, Stanley “Monk” Thomas and his family.

 She was a member of the Meyersdale Garden Club and the Meyersdale Library.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale, where a memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m.
