Janice (Potter) Forney

Janice (Potter) Forney, 83, of Meyersdale, passed away at Rest Assured Assisted Living.

Born September 15, 1935 in Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Harold  and Opal (Brickwell) Potter.  She was also preceded in death by her husband Richard Dean Forney; Mary Potter Nye, Harold PotterJr., and Mark W. Forney.

Janice was a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star.  She was employed by Penelec Electric Company.  Janice enjoyed antiquing with her husband.

Surviving is her family Laura (Potter) Shubert and Family of Pittsburgh, Johnathan Potter Nye of San Francisco California, Kenneth Brock and Family of Davison Michigan; step-children Richard Dean Forney II of Selema California and Ellen Forney of Somerset.

Friends will be received at Price Funeral Service, 325 Main Street, Meyersdale on Friday August 30, 2019 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

A Funeral Service will follow at the funeral home at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Eric Shaulis officiating.  

Interment will be private.
