Doris Laverne (Fike) Gnagey

Doris Laverne Gnagey, 88, of Meyersdale, died September 14, 2019 at UPMC Somerset. Born April 7, 1931 in Meyersdale, the daughter of William and Martha (Klingaman) Fike. Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 65 years Clay; brothers: Eugene, Robert and Lester Fike; sister-in-law: Helen Fike; brothers-in-law: Ray, Bruce, Glenn and Max Gnagey.

Survived by her brother-in-law: Guy Gnagey; sister-in-law: Lillian Fike; caregivers: Randy and Jean Fike, and Susie and David Lohr; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed going to flea markets, going out to eat, traveling around the tri-state area, bowling, and playing bingo. She was a member of the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale, where a funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. following the visitation, with Pastor Pete Kaltenbaugh officiating. Interment Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
