Albert W. Keefer Jr., 80, of Meyersdale, died April 26, 2018 at Meyersdale Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Born June 28, 1937 in Greenville Twp., the son of Albert W. Keefer Sr. and Malinda (Crissinger) Keefer.

Preceded in death by his parents; and two daughters: Roberta Jean Keefer and Beverly Jane Keefer.

Survived by his wife, of 60 years, Idella (Emerick) Keefer; son: Paul W. Keefer; siblings: Paul E. Keefer, Bruce L. Keefer, Robert “Bob” Keefer, Jane Altfather, Beatrice Larue, and Betty Hay.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Albert was a 1955 graduate of Meyersdale High School, and he was a mechanic for Baker Chevrolet, a self-employed truck driver for Keystone Lime Company and co-owner of Keefer Lime, until his retirement. He was a member of New Hope Church and enjoyed working outside.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Zachary Hall officiating. Interment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Glencoe.
