Stephen P. “Pete” Kelley, 84, of Meyersdale, died March 1, 2018 at Meyersdale Medical Center. Born February 13, 1934, in Pittsburgh. Preceded in death by his mother, Marie G. Devlin; grandchildren: Michael and Bart Kelley; and great grandson: Trennen Sigmund.
Survived by his wife, the former Barbara Miller; children: Steve Kelley, Meyersdale; Earlene LeCompte and husband Rob, Frederick, MD; Veronica Cashmer and husband Jim, DuBois; Janie Gnagey and husband Terry, Meyersdale; MaryLou Hackney, Charlestown, WVa; grandchildren: Laura Sigmund, Erin Kelley, Brad Rakushin, Jenna LeCompte, Tyler and Tessa Cashmer, Mandy Yoder, Kelley Butler, Matt Gnagey, and Alexandra Hackney; great grandchildren: Quinton and Torin Sigmund, Jaden and Gannon Yoder, Hunter Strope and Leland Butler; Also survived by brother: Gerry Devlin, Baltimore, MD and special friend of the family, Terri Walker. He was a United States
Army veteran and retired from CSX as a telegrapher.
A member of SS. Philip and James Catholic Church, Meyersdale and BPOE #1951, Meyersdale.
Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale, where an Elks service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday. Funeral mass will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Price Funeral Home, with Rev. Stephen Shin, OFM Cap and Very Rev. Alan Thomas V.G. Committal SS. Philip and James Cemetery.
