Shirley N. Tucker, 80, of Garrett, died September 30, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born November 30, 1935 in Reading Mines, the daughter of William and Florence (Klink) Stevanus.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband Edwin “Emmie” Tucker; daughter, Vickie Gnagey; brothers and sisters: Harry, James, Glen, Robert, William, Russell, Helen, and Grace.

Survived by children: Donna Brown and husband Ron, Edie; Edwin H. Tucker and wife Cathy, Portage; Brenda Oester and fiancé Rodney McKenzie, Garrett; Tammie Gerhart and husband Bill, Somerset; and Debra Wilson, Meyersdale; 13 grandchildren, including Michael Kelly and wife Amber, Garrett; and numerous great grandchildren. She is also survived by companion, Judd Swaney, and family friend, Tim Lintz.

Shirley was a member of the United Methodist Church, Garrett. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking, making candy, completing puzzles and being crafty. There was nothing she could not do.

Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Price Funeral Service, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, with Pastor Ken Davis officiating.   Interment Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
